Dark matter with low reheating temperature

Description
We revisit the calculation of the abundance of the supersymmetric dark matter particles: neutralino, gravitino, singlino and axino, taking into account the possibility that the reheating temperature of the Universe after inflation can be of the order of the electroweak scale or even lower. This leads to dramatic departures of predictions from the usually considered case of high reheating temperature. By means of Bayesian techniques, we study the regions of parameter spaces of respective models consistent with the LHC and low-energy data, in particular to check the prospects of direct detection in forthcoming experiments (neutralino) and to infer the impact of the constraints from successful nucleosynthesis and formation of large structures in the Universe (gravitino and axino). We also comment on the possibility of a verification of this paradigm via indirect detection.
