DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Hyung Do Kim\n\nThe main reference for this talk is
2203.10100. The claim is that there can be gravitationally bound solitons
which are fully quantum coherentfor dark photon dark matter (DPDM) with ma
ss larger than 10^{-5} eV (smaller than 10^8 GeV) as long as the mass is m
uch smaller than the inflation scale.\nThe density of a 'dark photon star'
('Proca star' or 'soliton') is typically 10^6 times larger than the local
background dark matter densityand the mass is 10^{-16} M_{sol} (10^{-5} e
V/m)^{3/2} for DPDM mass m.It is surrounded by a fuzzy dark matter halo. L
ower density compact halos with a mass 10^5 larger than the soliton form a
t much larger scales. At least the soliton survives without tidal disruptio
n.\nI'll discuss possible (transient) signatures in direct detection if ti
 me is allowed.\n\nhttps://indico.ibs.re.kr/event/1383/
