Abstract:
In this talk, I will discuss the recent developments of generative diffusion models for simulating lattice field theories. After establishing a connection to stochastic quantization formulated with the Langevin dynamics, I will demonstrate its applicability to two-dimensional phi-4 scalar field theory and U(1) gauge theory, in the regions of the parameter space exhibiting topological freezing which is closely related with critical slowing down, as a global effective sampler.
