Description

Numerical relativity is the use of high-performance computing to solve Einstein’s equations of general relativity in regimes where gravity is strong and nonlinear. In this talk, I will give an overview of how these techniques can be applied to study strong-gravity phenomena in the early universe, such as inflation, preheating and primordial black hole formation.
