Welcome to the fifth International Workshop on Superconducting Sensors and Detectors (IWSSD) to be held December 7 - 10, 2020 in Daejeon, South Korea. IWSSD is a series of biennial workshop of highlighting the latest developments in sensors and detectors based on superconducting devices. Superconducting sensors and detectors have become one of the key technologies that drive paradigm shifting innovations and fundamental discoveries in science. We would like to invite not just experts in the fields but also young researchers and students interested in expanding their expertise to the development and applications of the superconducting sensors and detectors. 

The venue at the IBS Science Culture Center in Daejeon is located in the central part of the newly renovated Daejeon Expo Science Park.  

We look forward to seeing you December 7 - 10, 2020 in Daejeon for IWSSD 2020.
