Description
In this talk, I will discuss the recent progress in the black hole information paradox for 3D two-side Janus black hole. First, I briefly review the black hole information paradox. Then, I explain previous attempts to understand this problem, and I introduce a recent Island conjecture as a ``resolution'’ of the paradox as well as doubly holography. Finally, I discuss the 3D Janus black hole as a top-down example of the Island conjecture and doubly-holography.
