I will review the paper "Crowdsourcing Gravitational Waves from Superradiant Axions" (arXiv:2603.15734), which explores the possibility of searching for ultralight axions through gravitational waves emitted by axion clouds around spinning black holes.
In this talk, I will summarize the basic idea of black hole superradiance, the population-level gravitational-wave signals considered in the paper, and the prospects for testing axion parameter space with current and future detectors.
