Description

The Institute for Basic Science (IBS) was established in 2011 to pursue medium to large scale basic sciences based in Korea. Since then a total of 28 IBS centers have been selected and funded.

In this IBS Festival we would like to share our experiences and activities with you in a relaxed atmosphere. You are cordially invited to our festival on Sunday evening (17:00 ~ 18:30, July 8th)
just before a public lecture by Gian F. Giudice, the head of CERN theoretical physics department.

A panel of scientists from IBS is going to discuss the challenges related to IBS and answer your questions. Welcome to the IBS Festival!
