Description

We discuss the gravitational lensing(GL) phenomena of gravitational wave(GW) in the diffraction limit, i.e. Diffractive lensing(DL). The relevant length scale of DL phenomena is shown to be geometric mean of the wave length of GW and distance to the lens object and can be as large as few parsecs when 1 Hz GW is lensed by an object at 1 Gpc distance. We demonstrate that when this property of DL is combined with the broadband observation of GW, probing the ultra-small scale structures like dark matter subhalo and primordial black hole at cosmological distance can be realized.
