The most convenient route from Tokyo is the Seibu Railway Limited Express Laview from Ikebukuro to Seibu-Chichibu. The journey takes approximately 80 minutes and requires no transfer.
All seats on the Laview are reserved, and a limited express ticket is required. Advance purchase is recommended.
Laview tickets can be purchased online via Seibu Railway's Smooz service.
In addition to the Laview limited express ticket, a regular train fare is required. The regular fare can be paid with Suica, PASMO, or another compatible IC card.
