How to get to the i-Hotel from Incheon Airport
1. By an airport limousine bus (Recommended, ~3 hours, direct)
- Ticketing: There are a ticket office and ticket vending machines on the arrival floor of the airport. (~25,000 Korean won)
- Destination: Daejeon Government Complex (대전청사)
- After arrival: take a taxi to the hotel (~10 min, ~5,000 Korean won), you can show the driver "도룡동 아이호텔로 가주세요" if he/she doesn't speak English
2. By train (>3 hours, >50,000 Korean won)
- Airport train (Incheon -> Seoul, ~5,000 - 13,000 won) -> KTX train (Seoul -> Daejeon, ~20,000 won)
- After arrival: take a taxi to the hotel (~20 min, ~10,000 Korean won), you can show the driver "도룡동 아이호텔로 가주세요" if he/she doesn't speak English
From here to Incheon airport
It is basically the reverse of how to come.
Note for bus: Online booking of buses accepts only Korean credit/debit cards. You can either (i) ask a local person to purchase it for you, and pay him/her by cash, or (ii) go to the local terminal (google map ~30 min by walk, one way) and buy the ticket.
When taking a taxi,
You can show the following Korean sentence if the driver doesn't speak English. (Make sure you show the proper one!)
- To i-Hotel "도룡동 아이호텔로 가주세요"
- To the local bus terminal in Daejeon "대전 청사 버스 정류소로 가주세요"
- To Daejeon train station "대전역으로 가주세요"
