The xQCD 2026 conference will provide financial support to a select number of graduate students. Support will be granted only to students who submit an abstract for a talk or a poster. Possible forms of support are:
- Conference fee waiver
- Free accommodation in the student dormitory (20 twin rooms for 40 students).
- Lunches, beverages, and Conference dinner for the Ph.D. school and the conference.
You can apply for the student support using the conference registration form, where you specify which kinds of support you want to apply for.
In order to be considered for student support you must furthermore prepare two documents:
- Your current CV (in PDF, max 2 pages)
- A reference letter from your supervisor confirming your student status and explaining why you need travel support (if you apply for it). The reference letter should contain your name and affiliation (as PDF)
Applicants for student support are requested to prepare all required documents in PDF format and compress them into a single zip archive named firstname_lastname_stud_support.zip. The zip file must be submitted by email to xQCD2026@gmail.com by the registration deadline. Please note that student support documents should be submitted by email and not uploaded through the registration form.
Note 1: Participation in the XQCD PhD School is obligatory for those granted support!
Note 2: Students receiving support may be asked to help during the conference.
