Description

The Nuclei in the Cosmos XVII (NIC-XVII) school for graduate students and young postdocs will be held at the Institute for Basic Science in Daejeon, Korea from September 11 to 15, 2023, which is one week before the NIC-XVII symposium (Go to NIC-XVII symposium webpage).

The NIC-XVII school 2023 is organized by the local organizing committee (LOC) from Korean institutions and the international research centers in the world. The organizers are planning the NIC-XVII school as an in-person event in Daejeon, where we can teach students and young scientists of the NIC community face-to-face.

The school will provide lectures on basics and the current subjects in nuclear astrophysics, from theories to experiments and observations.

*School Venue : IBS Main Building, B109 Lecture room

Application details here

*Registration fee: USD 300 / KRW 400,000 (including accommodation at I-hotel, lunch coupons, banquet, coffee break)

Details are noticed at the Accomodation information menu.

ChETEC-INFRA is going to support up to 20 European students and young postdocs by covering the school's registration fee of USD 300.00, including accommodation, lunch coupons, banquet, and coffee break.
