A PKNU guide will accompany each group, assist with transportation and participation, and provide basic support throughout the program. Unless otherwise stated, participants will pay local transportation and activity fees. Please choose your option via the Google form by 30 June:

1. Igidae Coastal Trekking

The trekking program will start from and return to Pukyong National University (PKNU).
Basic route:
PKNU → Igidae Coastal Trail → Dongsaengmal → Eoulmadang → Nongbawi Rock → Oryukdo Sunrise Park / Oryukdo Skywalk → PKNU
The main trekking section is the scenic Igidae Coastal Trail, about 4.7 km long and usually taking 2.5 to 3 hours. The route includes coastal decks, forest paths, stairs, and rocky sections, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Participants can enjoy beautiful views of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Marine City, Haeundae, coastal cliffs, the open sea, and Oryukdo Islets. This course is recommended for participants who want to enjoy Busan’s natural coastline, sea views, and light outdoor activity in a relaxed afternoon schedule.

2. Yacht Tour

The yacht tour program will start from and return to Pukyong National University (PKNU).
Basic route:
PKNU → The Bay 101 → Dongbaek Island / Nurimaru APEC House → Haeundae Beach → Gwangandaegyo Bridge → Suyeong Bay / Gwangalli Beach → Marine City → The Bay 101
Participants will move from PKNU to The Bay 101 by local transportation. The yacht tour takes about 55 minutes and follows a scenic route around Haeundae, Gwangalli, Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and Marine City.
This is a shared yacht tour, suitable for an evening schedule. Participants can enjoy views of the sea, Busan’s coastline, and sunset or night views, depending on the selected time slot.
This program is recommended for participants who want to enjoy Busan’s coastal scenery, sea breeze, sunset, and night views, as well as a relaxed marine leisure activity.
Estimated cost: approximately 25-30 USD, depending on the selected time slot, plus local transportation fee.
3. Busan City Tour Bus

The Busan City Tour Bus program will start from and return to Pukyong National University (PKNU).
Basic route:
PKNU → nearby City Tour Bus stop → UN Memorial Cemetery → Busan Museum → Yonghoman Sightseeing Boat Terminal → Gwangalli Beach → Suyeong Bay Yacht Stadium / Marine City → Dongbaekseom Island → Haeundae Beach → Centum City / Busan Cinema Center → Busan Museum of Art / BEXCO → Gwangan Bridge → Peace Park → Gwangbok-ro → nearby City Tour Bus stop → PKNU
Participants will move from PKNU to a nearby City Tour Bus stop, depending on the final arrangement. The program will use the Busan City Tour Red Line, a circular sightseeing route between Busan Station and Haeundae.
The route covers major attractions such as Gwangalli Beach, Marine City, Dongbaekseom Island, Haeundae Beach, Centum City, BEXCO, Peace Park, Gwangbok-ro, Busan Harbor Bridge, and Gwangan Bridge. The bus runs 9 times a day, every 50 minutes, from Wednesday to Sunday, and does not operate on Monday and Tuesday. Schedule delays may occur depending on weather and traffic conditions.
This program is recommended for participants who want to enjoy Busan’s city views, coastal scenery, bridges, and major tourist spots without a long walking schedule.

4. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

The Haedong Yonggungsa Temple program will start from and return to Pukyong National University (PKNU).
Basic route:
PKNU → Haedong Yonggungsa Temple → Coastal temple area/ocean viewpoint → PKNU
Participants will move from PKNU to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple by local transportation. Haedong Yonggungsa is a rare Buddhist temple located along the coast in northeastern Busan, unlike most Korean temples, which are located in the mountains.
Participants can enjoy the temple’s unique combination of traditional Buddhist architecture, coastal cliffs, ocean views, and the sound of waves. The temple is associated with Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, and its name is linked to the image of a dragon rising from the sea.
This program is recommended for participants who want to experience Busan’s coastal scenery, Korean temple culture, and a calm seaside atmosphere in a relaxed schedule.
Estimated cost: temple admission is free; local transportation is approximately 5-8 USD round-trip, paid by participants.
